Kazam, India’s leading EV charging infrastructure and energy-tech company, has announced a major milestone: crossing 1 lakh+ charger installations across the country. With operations spanning 3,900 pin codes, Kazam has emerged as one of the most widely deployed EV charging networks in India, building a robust foundation for the country’s clean mobility transformation through driving access to clean energy access.
A large share of this deployment comes through partnerships with some of India’s most trusted automotive names, including Mahindra and Bajaj. By enabling OEM-led ecosystems alongside its independent charging network, Kazam is making EV adoption more seamless for millions of users.
The milestone comes at a time when India is racing towards its ambitious target of 30% EV penetration by 2030. Accessible charging remains one of the biggest enablers for EV adoption, and Kazam’s rapid expansion ensures that both urban and semi-urban regions are being equipped with reliable, hardware-agnostic charging solutions.
Kazam’s unique model, spanning residential, commercial, and fleet charging, allows interoperability across multiple OEMs, giving users the freedom and confidence to transition to EVs without range anxiety. The company has already powered over 45 GWh of energy through its platform and continues to scale rapidly with hardware-agnostic technology, battery energy storage integration, and peer-to-peer energy trading pilots.
“Crossing 1 lakh installations is a milestone for us! At Kazam, we are building the backbone of India’s clean mobility future. Our collaborations with Mahindra and Bajaj and our presence across nearly 4,000 pin codes underline our vision: to make EV charging as universal and reliable as the electricity grid itself. This current achievement reaffirms our commitment to accelerate India’s journey towards net-zero, while shaping a sustainable energy ecosystem for generations to come”, shared Akshay Shekhar, CEO, Kazam.
With this achievement, Kazam joins the ranks of global leaders in EV infrastructure while staying firmly committed to its mission of building a clean, accessible, and future-ready energy ecosystem for India and beyond.
