The Biggest Deal in Indian Television History: Lawyered Secures INR 8.5 Crore All-Titan Deal on IdeaBaaz

Legal-tech startup Lawyered has raised INR 8.5 crore on the business reality show IdeaBaaz at a INR 120 crore pre-money valuation, creating history with the largest funding ever announced on Indian television. In a rare and unanimous decision, all the IdeaBaaz Titans joined hands for an All-Titans investment, an endorsement that underscores the scale of the problem Lawyered is solving in India’s mobility compliance and legal access landscape.

The investment round brought together prominent names including Pawan Jaggi (US-based VC & Global Director, Turbostart), Sandesh Sharda (VC Investor, Washington D.C), Priyanka Salot (Co-founder, The Sleep Company), and Arjun Vaidya (Partner, V3 Ventures). The company also received validation and technical backing from IIT Madras, which has further strengthened industry confidence in Lawyered’s technology and nationwide potential.

Himanshu Gupta, Founder & CEO of Lawyered, said, “This INR 8.5 crore All-Titans deal is not just a funding milestone; it is validation of a mission to make legal access and mobility compliance seamless for every Indian. When every Titan on IdeaBaaz chose to back us together, it reaffirmed that the infrastructure we are building is essential at a national level. This capital will accelerate our efforts to scale LOTS247, expand ChallanPay, and strengthen our transition into India’s most trusted mobility-compliance ecosystem.”

The company plans to utilise the funds to drive product innovation, expand its technology infrastructure, deepen nationwide distribution, and strengthen brand visibility. Lawyered will focus on expanding India’s first roadside legal assistance service LOTS247, and its Traffic challan discovery and resolution product ChallanPay, both of which have seen rapid adoption among vehicle owners, logistics & transport operators, gig workers, and small businesses.

Mudit Kumar; Co-Founder & COO, Ideabaaz commented, “Lawyered created a first-of-its-kind moment on Indian television by bringing together every Titan on the panel. Their clarity of mission, traction across Bharat, and strong technology backbone made it evident that Lawyered is building for a massive and urgent need. This INR 8.5 crore deal is a defining moment for the show and for India’s startup landscape.”

Jeet Wagh, Founder & CEO of IdeaBaaz, added that Lawyered’s All-Titans moment reflects the show’s core vision to spotlight transformative startups that are building category-defining solutions for India.

As mobility governance and legal compliance become central to India’s transport and logistics ecosystem, Lawyered’s record-breaking raise positions the company to scale rapidly and build a robust, accessible, and tech-driven legal services infrastructure across the country.
