Sokudo Electric India to Open 100 Flagship Stores by FY25

Sokudo Electric India has revealed its plans to set up 100 new flagship stores across India by the end of 2024. The electric two-wheeler manufacturer plans to establish twenty stores and expand its market reach in new areas such as Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra.

The stores are anticipated to have a minimum area of approximately 1,500 sq. ft., with a few locations exceeding 2,000 sq. ft. Anubhuti Electric will be overseeing their openings as the distributor. According to the sources, the company is aiming to capture 5 percent of India’s electric two-wheeler market. The new stores of Sokudo are expected to contribute to 60 percent of the firm’s sales by the end of 2024.

Prashant Vashishtha, CMD of Sokudo Electric India feels that this strategic move will help the company to strengthen its market presence helping more consumers access high-quality electric scooters at an affordable price. “We are currently in the opening phase of our flagship stores and aim to meet the high EV demand in key locations across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra. I am positive that our flagship stores will mark a milestone in our EV journey and allow us to refine our customer experience,” he said.

Earlier this year, Sokudo Electric launched a new range of helmets and also established 20,000 square feet motor and controller plant in Greater Noida for e-scooters.
