Oriana Power Bags Solar Order Worth INR 247 Crore from Bharat Petroleum

Oriana Power Limited has received a new order for a solar project from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited worth INR 247.88 Crores. As per the terms of this order, The company will execute a ground-mounted solar power project with a total capacity of 52 MW under EPC segment including CTU approval, transmission lines. The order also includes complete Operations &Maintenance (O&M) support for five years.

“Winning this prestigious order from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited marks an important milestone for Oriana Power, demonstrating our ability to effectively operate large-scale solar projects,” said Anirudh Saraswat, Chief Business Officer of Oriana Power Limited.

“We are excited to contribute to India’s renewable energy goals through this partnership and look forward to the successful execution and long-term impact of this project. While the renewable energy sector frequently encounters challenges such as short project timelines and complicated logistics, our proven expertise and simple procedures ensure that we meet these demands effectively,” he added.

As of August 6, Oriana Power reported more than 390 MW of cumulative capacity under execution. The company has delivered more than 240 MW of cumulative projects so far and has more than 900 MW of additional projects in the pipeline.

Oriana Power has a diverse portfolio of projects spread across 22 states in India. The company has tied up approximately 920 Acres of land bank across India for Renewable Energy projects. Going forward, the company is aiming to expand to Middle-East, Africa and Europe.

Oriana Power has recently announced a strategic tie-up with US-based Green Hydrogen electrolyser manufacturer, Splitwaters. It will commission a gigafactory for producing electrolysers and Balance of Plant (BOP) modules – key components for green hydrogen and e-fuels production – with 500 MW capacity to be operational by 2026 and another 500 MW to be added in 2027.
