As part of their strategy to decarbonize the supply chain, Marposs has partnered with EV manufacturer Omega Seiki Mobility to deploy electric three-wheelers through UNOXpress for internal and last-mile logistics operations. With this move, the company would not only be reducing carbon emissions but also bringing cost efficiencies to their logistics.
A primary supplier of the major automotive manufacturers, for both ICE and EV applications, Marposs has been a driving force behind quality control in manufacturing across diverse industries for over six decades. Marposs, strengthened by the knowledge and skills already proven in the field of electro-mobility, provides testing systems dedicated to battery packs. By collaborating with Omega Seiki Mobility, the company is integrating sustainability into every aspect of its operations.
Last month, Marposs opened a new office and tech center in Bangalore where the firm’s most advanced technologies are being made available and ‘tailor-made’ solutions are being developed for the specific needs of the domestic market.
Meanwhile, Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) recently partnered with Naari Shakti, a women’s welfare charitable trust, to deploy 2,500 specially designed pink electric auto-rickshaws for women drivers across India.
Both companies are integral parts of the EV ecosystem, and their partnership reflects a shared commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness.
