The 21st EV Expo 2024 came to a remarkable close, showcasing the future of sustainable transportation. Khalsa E-Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. has made a significant impact at this year’s expo, highlighting its commitment to revolutionizing the electric vehicle (EV) landscape in India. The event, held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, witnessed the launch of Khalsa EV’s groundbreaking product, Luka (Model L5), a state-of-the-art electric three-wheeler auto, which garnered attention from industry leaders, government officials, and prominent personalities.
The expo’s opening day saw a prestigious launch led by Ajay Tamta, MoS, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways. He inaugurated Khalsa EV’s new line of battery-operated vehicle, including the Luka, a cutting-edge three-wheeler auto powered by a high-speed Lithium-ion battery. The vehicle offers an impressive range of 200 km, and is available in both passenger version. Featuring an advanced 11.77KW battery, peak torque of 40NM, and a top speed of 44 km/h, Luka is designed for both efficiency and convenience, with an automatic gearbox and fast-charging capabilities (4-5 hours).
On the second day, Khalsa E-Vehicles welcomed Daya Shankar Singh, UP Transport Minister, and Smriti Irani, Politician, to its stall. Both leaders praised Khalsa EV’s vision for transforming the EV sector and the positive impact of the newly launched Luka three-wheeler.
Singh emphasized the importance of adopting EVs to combat the escalating pollution crisis. “The growing environmental challenges demand that we switch to eco-friendly alternatives like electric vehicles. This transition is not just a choice, it’s an urgent necessity,” he stated.
Smriti Irani, in her visit, expressed her appreciation for the Luka model’s potential to benefit individuals and businesses alike, especially those in the gig economy. She hailed the efforts of Khalsa E-Vehicles for contributing significantly to India’s EV revolution, stressing that electric vehicles are indeed the “need of the hour.”
On the final day of the expo, Khalsa EV stall welcomed RP Singh, Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Singh praised the innovative features of the Luka and its potential to reshape India’s commercial electric vehicle market.
