ENGIE will participate in the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025, taking place from October 30 to November 1 at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida. Through this strategic engagement, ENGIE will highlight its expanding hybrid and storage-backed renewable portfolio, its growing presence across India’s energy landscape, and its innovation-driven collaboration platform, ENGIE Urja, which connects startups and technology partners in the clean-tech ecosystem.
ENGIE’s leadership will play an active role in shaping key conversations throughout the event. On Day 1, Amit Jain, CEO and Country Manager ENGIE India, Managing Director Renewables & Batteries India & South-East Asia, will join senior industry leaders on the panel “Industry Preparedness for 500 GW by 2030” to discuss India’s readiness to scale its renewable capacity to meet the government’s 2030 target. Amit will also represent ENGIE at the CEO Conclave, “Deliberations to Gravitate Towards Future Growth,” bringing together CEOs and policymakers to explore strategies for accelerating investment, enhancing domestic manufacturing, and unlocking new opportunities for India’s green economy.
Additionally, Anupum Vadhera, Director (Business Development & Commercial) at ENGIE Supply & Energy Management, will participate in the session “Making Storage Grid-Ready – Unlocking Value in Power Markets,” hosted at the Battery Show Arena. The discussion will examine how India’s energy storage sector is evolving from early-stage tenders to commercial-scale projects and how ENGIE’s co-located and hybrid storage systems are enabling reliable, round-the-clock renewable power.
Amit Jain shared, “India represents one of the most dynamic clean energy markets in the world—vast in scale, diverse in challenges, and rich in potential. For ENGIE, this is not just a market to operate in, but a platform to innovate for the planet. Our work in hybrid systems, storage-backed renewables, and digital optimisation reflects a deep commitment to building solutions that are reliable, inclusive, and future-ready. The REI Expo offers a vital space for collaboration, where industry and policy can come together to turn ambition into execution.”
ENGIE lounge will also feature Urja.ai, its enterprise–startup collaboration initiative, reflecting its commitment to nurturing innovation ecosystems that support India’s clean energy priorities. Positioned as a central meeting point for policymakers, partners, and industry leaders, the ENGIE Experience reinforces the company’s intent: to accelerate India’s 500 GW journey with integrated communications, collaborative engagement, and a clear long-term vision for a reliable, inclusive, and next-generation renewable future.
