Electric three-wheeler manufacturer DSR EV Mobility has joined hands with Three Wheels United (TWU) to solve the retail financing challenge for the L5 Electric auto rickshaw. This collaboration underscores their commitment to driving the electric mobility revolution forward while empowering drivers and communities with cleaner, more efficient transportation solutions.
The partnership aims to facilitate the financing of the first 1000 L5 Electric auto rickshaws, thereby accelerating their adoption in urban and suburban areas where these vehicles are crucial for last-mile connectivity. By overcoming barriers to financing, such as high initial costs and limited credit availability, DSR EV Mobility and TWU are enabling drivers to transition from traditional fossil fuel vehicles to eco-friendly electric ones with ease.
Key aspects of the partnership include tailored financing options that cater to the needs of drivers, competitive interest rates, and streamlined approval processes. This initiative not only supports sustainable transportation but also enhances economic opportunities for drivers by reducing operating costs and maintenance requirements associated with conventional auto rickshaws. Moreover, by promoting the use of electric vehicles (EVs), DSR EV Mobility and TWU are contributing to environmental sustainability goals, reducing carbon emissions and noise pollution in urban environments. The announcement was made by Rakesh Sharma, Director, DSR EV Mobility on a social media platform.
