AutoNxt Automation has officially started sales of its electric tractors. According to the reports, the firm has sold its 45 HP electric tractor to Jaywant Sugar Mills during an event that took place at the Yashwantrao Mohite Krishna Sugar Factory, in the presence of Dr. Sureshbaba Bhosale, Chairman of the factory. The launch event was attended by directors and staff members of the Y. M. Krishna Cooperative Factory.
“AutoNxt’s electric tractor will bring about a revolution in agriculture and various industrial sectors,” said Dr. Sureshbaba Bhosale praising this innovation, and emphasising that the tractor aligns with the country’s push towards sustainable transportation.
Speaking at the event, Kaustubh Dhonde, founder and CEO of AutoNxt added, “Our nation depends heavily on agriculture, and farmers remain the backbone of the economy. Traditional diesel tractors, while reliable, are expensive to maintain and contribute to environmental harm. Our goal with the AutoNxt electric tractor was to provide farmers with an affordable, efficient, and environmentally friendly alternative.”
The AutoNxt 45 HP electric tractor boasts impressive capabilities, including the ability to transport over 15 tons of goods. With tasks such as reversible ploughing and rotary cultivation, it can cover about 50 km on a full charge, which takes just three hours. The tractor’s battery is designed to be charged using both three-phase and single-phase electricity, resulting in fuel savings of 60 to 70 percent.
